St. Thomas is a progressive, diverse pastoral sized congregation in the historic Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. We are seeking a talented, creative part-time Minister of Music to build a dynamic music program. St. Thomas seeks candidates intrigued by the opportunity to develop a program that incorporates a wide range of styles, including but not limited to spirituals and gospel, world music, and classical European Anglican music. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in choral music and organ and a desire to think and work outside the box, including incorporating additional instruments and making use of community musical resources. S/he will also work well with the team of the clergy/staff and choir and be an inspiring leader. The parish is currently installing a new Johannes organ (digital and 1015 pipes).
