St. Mark's – a United Methodist Church in Florida
We are a medium-sized church (avg. attendance 375) with a new vision:
"A community of LIFE! Groups living in and out God's revolutionary love where people are being transformed toward wholeness."
We are in transition from a typical church structure to a cell church. Our deep desire is to see God transform our local community through Christ's revolutionary love, but we realize that we must first model authentic Christian community ourselves.
We have a full time position for an applicant with a healthy, authentic relationship with Christ. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in, or 2 years of experience in, some form of Christian ministry required. Children's Ministry & Community LIFE! – To help cultivate an authentic Christ-centered community of cell groups. These groups will form the basic building blocks of an organic system of discipleship through the stages of life with a special focus on "LIFE! together" – abundant LIFE! in intergenerational community. To directly oversee children's ministry, work with the Youth and Young Adult Leader and Lead Pastor to help disciples transition from one life-stage to the next. To pay attention to how people are welcomed and included in the community – especially as it relates to LIFE! Groups. Must be strong relationally and administratively.
