Job Description:
St. Anne of Grace Episcopal Church, Seminole, Florida, is seeking a part-time Director of Youth Ministry to coordinate and assist in leading youth activities.
Responsibilities of the Director of Youth Ministry:
Building strong relationships with youth in the church.
Shared planning, coordination and leading of children and youth Christian education and fellowship activities to include, but not limited to:
A. Regular weekly Christian education/Sunday School. To include curriculum and recruiting Sunday School teachers.
B. Regular weekly fellowship
C. Organize and develop Vacation Bible School.
D. Mission trips and outreach.
E. Fundraisers.
Coordinate and participate in Diocesan youth activities.
Involve youth in the life and ministry of St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
Participate in Sunday morning worship.
Be accountable to the Priest and Senior Warden.
Requirements for this position include:
An authentic faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for working with youth.
Strong planning, administrative and organizational skills.
A team player committed to working with and developing parent and volunteer leaders.
Director of Youth Ministry must be 25 years old, submit to a background check and attend Safeguarding God's Children training class.
The position is part-time (10 - 12 hours a week) at a salary between $9,360 - $10,400.
