Job Description:

The person filling the position of Director of Administration will be hired by the BOD in consultation with the Executive Director and can be terminated only by the BOD. This position will report to both the Executive Director and to the BOD with oversight by the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer. The Director of Administration shall submit a monthly written report on all administrative functions in the same manner as the Director of Seeds of Change and the Executive Director, however with far more detail. A monthly Income and Expense Report and Balance Sheet and Account Summary will be attached to this report and highlights discussed within the narrative portion of the report. The Director of Administration will attend the open portion of all BOD meetings.

Administration was defined by the BOD as the integration of functional and fiscal management and inclusive of the following elements:
1. Financial Accounting and Record Keeping and Accountability (ability to explain changes in individual accounts)
2. Expense Control & Purchasing (PO System)
3. Human Resources Management (Payroll System)
4. Asset and Facilities Management
5. Business Reporting to the BOD
6. Vendor Relations and Contracting
7. Regulatory Compliance and Governmental Interface
8. Loss Prevention and Insurance
