Job Description:
First United Methodist Church in Americus, Georgia, seeks a Director of Youth Ministries. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to Christ's teachings and an ability to develop and nurture that commitment in the youth congregation of our church. We are seeking an energetic, experienced individual who is organized, an excellent communicator, and a proven leader of youth and volunteers. This position is responsible for all programs and activities for youth in grades 6-12 at FUMC, and with creating opportunities to involve youth in the greater community with the aim of spreading and deepening a love of Christ and a love of one another in our church and community.
Compensation: Salary range is $40,000 to $50,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Health insurance and other benefits are provided.
