Passion and calling for making Christ known to students by equipping, encouraging, and empowering them in the life journey of imitating Christ. Likewise, equipping, encouraging and empowering parents to be the primary spiritual life models/teachers of their student and to equip, encourage, & empower adult leadership to be a part of student's journey. Emphasis on building strong relationships with both students and parents is a must. Team centered, Christ/Word focused and servant leader model would be the style of present leadership ministry team. HWC reaches out to the hurting and broken of our community by bringing in inner city youth through our Van Ministry. A candidate must feel comfortable ministering to our youth regardless of their social status, race, or family upbringing.
Qualifications needed: Bachelor's degree required, with Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of pastoral, church or ministry experience with 10+ years preferred.
